University of Brighton มีวิทยาเขตตั้งอยู่ใน 3 เมืองฝั่งทางใต้ของประเทศอังกฤษ คือ Brighton, Eastbourne และ Hasting ถูกแบ่งออกเป็น 5 วิทยาเขต โดยอยู่ใน Brighton 3 แคมปัส คือ Grand Parade, Falmer และ Moulsecoomb ส่วนอีก 2 แคมปัส อยู่ใน Eastbourne และ Hastings โดยแต่ละแคมปัสมีบรรยากาศและอาคารเรียนที่แตกต่างกันออกไปค่ะ เช่น แคมปัส Falmer ซึ่งเป็นที่ตั้งของคณะศึกษาศาสตร์และที่เรียน pre-sessional course จะตั้งอยู่บนเนินเขา ห่างจากตัวเมืองประมาณ 30 นาที มีลักษณะเป็นอาคารที่ทันสมัย และมีความร่มรื่น ส่วน Grand Parade เป็นที่เรียนเกี่ยวกับ Art and Design วิทยาเขตนี้จะตั้งอยู่ติดถนนใหญ่และอยู่ใจกลางเมือง Brighton

University of Brighton มีเปิดการเรียนการสอนมากกว่า 200 หลักสูตรในหลากหลายสาขาตั้งแต่สาขาการวาดภาพประกอบจนถึงวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยได้รับรางวัลมากมาย อาทิเช่นรางวัลระดับ Silver จาก TEF ซึ่งเป็นยกย่องการสอนที่มีคุณภาพสูงของมหาวิทยาลัย University of Brighton เดิมใช้ชื่อว่า Brighton School of Art ก่อตั้งขึ้นในปี 1858 เริ่มแรกมีนักเรียนเพียง 110 คน โดยใช้ห้องครัวของ Royal Pavilion เป็นสถานที่จัดการเรียนการสอนในสมัยนั้น ต่อมาในปี 1876 ได้ทำการย้ายมาเรียนที่ Grade Parade ซึ่งถือเป็นตึกเรียนแห่งแรกของมหาวิทยาลัยที่ได้รับเกียรติจากนายกรัฐมนตรี William Gladstone มาเป็นสักขีพยานในการก่อสร้างตึกเรียน แท้จริงแล้ว University of Brighton นั้นเกิดจากการรวมตัวกันของ Brighton School of Art, Brighton College of Technology และ Brighton Polytechnic จากนั้นได้รับการสถานปนาเป็นมหาวิทยาลัยในปี 1992

University of Brighton ตั้งอยู่ที่เมือง Brighton ถือเป็นเมืองตากอากาศติดชายทะเลมีบรรยากาศที่ไม่วุ่นวาย และมีจุดท่องเที่ยวที่น่าสนใจมากมาย อย่างเช่น Brighton Pier – อาร์เขตและสวนสนุกที่สร้างยื่นออกมาในทะเล ร้านค้าต่างๆที่อยู่แนวริมหาดของเมือง อีกทั้งกิจกรรมที่เกี่ยวกับดนตรี ศิลปะและการแสดง ที่ทางเมือง Brighton จัดขึ้นอย่างต่อเนื่อง Brighton มีความโดดเด่นในทางภูมิศาสตร์ที่มีความสวยงามและเพียบพร้อมไปด้วย Shopping Mall ร้านอาหาร คาเฟ่ ที่เรียงรายกระจายอยู่ทั่วเมือง และตัวเมืองยังตั้งอยู่ห่างจากลอนดอนเพียง 1 ชั่วโมงด้วยรถไฟอีกด้วย
